If you want to experience how things are done in the Underwriting and Claims Services team at our Hong Kong Branch, join us on a permanent, full-time basis commencing at the earliest possible date as a Medical Underwriter.

You can look forward to

  • Conducting underwriting risk assessments within delegated authority limits, ensuring alignment with company underwriting guidelines, team standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Evaluating and reviewing claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions, ensuring service-level turnaround times are consistently achieved.
  • Delivering underwriting training to clients and participate in client meetings to support relationship building and technical understanding.
  • Contributing to product development initiatives by reviewing product specifications, policy wording, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Preparing departmental reports as required and support ad hoc assignments such as guideline maintenance and other tasks delegated by the Manager.

You come equipped with

  • At least 3 years of experience in Life & Health Underwriting or Claims, or a background as a Registered Nurse or other medically related profession.
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) as the role requires liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • High Net Worth (HNW) underwriting experience is a strong advantage.
  • Confident, engaging, and self‑motivated, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively.
  • Capable of working independently while also contributing collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and solid business acumen.
  • Adaptable and versatile, comfortable handling a variety of products and serving diverse customer segments.
  • Detail‑oriented and well‑organized, with the ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
