Medical Underwriter
If you want to experience how things are done in the Underwriting and Claims Services team at our Hong Kong Branch, join us on a permanent, full-time basis commencing at the earliest possible date as a Medical Underwriter.
You can look forward to

Conducting underwriting risk assessments within delegated authority limits, ensuring alignment with company underwriting guidelines, team standards, and compliance requirements.

Evaluating and reviewing claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions, ensuring service-level turnaround times are consistently achieved.

Delivering underwriting training to clients and participate in client meetings to support relationship building and technical understanding.

Contributing to product development initiatives by reviewing product specifications, policy wording, and underwriting guidelines.

Preparing departmental reports as required and support ad hoc assignments such as guideline maintenance and other tasks delegated by the Manager.
You come equipped with
- At least 3 years of experience in Life & Health Underwriting or Claims, or a background as a Registered Nurse or other medically related profession.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese (spoken and written) as the role requires liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Positive attitude with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- High Net Worth (HNW) underwriting experience is a strong advantage.
- Confident, engaging, and self‑motivated, with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively.
- Capable of working independently while also contributing collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and solid business acumen.
- Adaptable and versatile, comfortable handling a variety of products and serving diverse customer segments.
- Detail‑oriented and well‑organized, with the ability to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.
