If you want to experience how things are done in the Pricing team at our Hong Kong Branch, join us on a permanent, full-time basis commencing at the earliest possible date as a Senior Manager, Pricing.

 

You can look forward to

Pricing and Product Development

  • Perform life and health reinsurance pricing for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the Philippines and Indonesia market quotations under the company’s guidelines.
  • Engage in product development discussions with internal and external stakeholders for risk assessments.
  • Review pricing work performed by junior Pricing team members and support timely deliveries of individual and group quotations to cedants.

In-force Management

  • Perform experience studies & profitability analyses on in-force treaties and support repricing for renewal negotiations led by Marketing team.

Communication

  • Work closely with local Marketing, Underwriting & Claims Services team, and occasionally with Hannover Office, other regional offices and departments concerning product developments, repricing, treaty terms reviews, pricing bases set up and guideline compliance.

Treaty Documentation

  • Review treaty documents to ensure consistencies between pricing intentions and quotation offers and reconcile treaty inputs in the company’s internal system.

Supervisory

  • Train junior Pricing team members for their professional developments.

You come equipped with

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or equivalent 
  • A minimum of 7 years of working experience in technical pricing from Insurance or Reinsurance industry 
  • Qualified Actuary with excellent communication skills as the role would require liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • In depth knowledge in Life and Health products in the APAC region
